Lululemon | Refresh - Branding Project

Lululemon generously offer corporate staff 6 mental health days per year. They don’t have a name or brand for these days off so I decided to experiment with what this could look like. Being a Yoga focussed fitness retail company I gave the ‘Refresh’ sub-brand, a soft blue and purple colour pallet. The logo was designed to work hand in hand with their current icon but also as a stand alone logo. The incentive around this brand is to offer mindfulness and yoga classes on the days their staff have off, should they wish to participate in person or virtually via the App/Website portal. Guest yoga instructors can put on sessions virtually or at parks around Vancouver.

To promote this sub brand I wanted to explore some photography options showcasing what the experience would look like virtually. The idea was to have the model surrounded by green plants and natural lighting. All photography and video for this project were shot using my Canon R6 and studio lighting set up.

* This is a passion project and in no way related to the Lululemon company/brand. *

I wanted to use a gradient as part of the Refresh brand to create visual interest and to keep users engaged. Keeping a healthy mind is super important and the colours, particularly when animated, reflect that constant complexity.
